Communities across the country are still trying to come to terms with the devastating flooding that has ripped through most of Ireland.
And with more rain forecast over the next 48 hours, homes, businesses and sports clubs are preparing for the worst.
This winter we have seen flooding at various GAA pitches across the country, but we don’t believe we have ever found it hard to distinguish where a pitch begins, and the flood ends.
These pictures of Moy Davitts GAA club in Mayo, the home of ex-Mayo football captain Gary Ruane, were taken by Darren Moran of Firefly Aerial Photography and published in the Mayo News, and we honestly cannot begin to get our heads around the amount of water present

Hopefully the club can get lots of volunteers to help in the clean-up but it looks like it will be a long time before they play any games at home.
