Tipperary gave The Kingdom a fright in the Munster Senior Football Championship final.
Tipp pushed Kerry close at Fitzgerald Stadium but Eamon Fitzmaurice’s side refused to panic. Class eventually saw them through and another Munster title was claimed.
The final scoreline was 3-17 to 2-10 in Kerry’s favour.
32 points to keep track of and a flurry of scores either side of the break. It was, briefly, all too much for the scoreboard operator.
3-70 to 1-5. Maybe a decade or so ago but The Premier County are pretty handy at the football now.
