Michael Darragh McAuley is not just an unbelievable footballer.
The Dublin man is also a fine DJ and it seems that his time spent spinning tracks has landed him a golden opportunity to rub shoulders with one of the most influential musicians of all time.
The Ballyboden St Enda’s man, who helped his club win the Dublin senior football crown last Sunday, somehow bumped into the man behind Daft Punks ‘Get Lucky’ last night, the one and only Nile Rodgers.
The guitarist is generally considered a pretty cool man having lent his talents to dozens of the most famous earworms over the last 30 years or so, but we think he may have found a rival in the hat stakes at least with this bobbly effort by the 2013 Footballer of the Year at an unknown location last night
Good times bumping into @nilerodgers earlier, so glad I didn't freak out #everybodydance #mick&rob 👊🏿 pic.twitter.com/UhVZDKUyIZ

Although there’s no pleasing some people
@MDMA_9 @nilerodgers doesn't look like a man that has stood under the size 5 in a crowded square
