Pure class on and off the field.
2015 was an emotional year for many people involved with Dublin football, but unfortunately one of the county’s biggest supporters was not able to witness the Boys in Blue lift Sam Maguire last month.
Alan Harris and his brother Stephen were killed in a tragic accident in June, with Hill 16 remembering both men in a special tribute at the Leinster semi finals in Croke Park during the summer.

And now Michael Darragh McAuley and Bernard Brogan have come true on a promise they made to the sister of Alan around the time of his death that they would not forget the Dublin supporter in the aftermath of the All-Ireland success.
The two players visited the grave of Alan this afternoon with the Sam Maguire in a genuine act of class.
@MDMA_9 promised Lucy Harris that if the Dubs win Sam he would bring Sam to Alan & that's what he & Berno did today 💙 pic.twitter.com/RWGru79qp8
