New sleeves and a new sponsor.
Derry GAA are the second county so far this winter to release their new county GAA strip for 2016, and it has certainly got the the SportsJOE seal of approval.
The jersey is still the classic white with red band across the midriff, but there’s been a few key yet subtle changes that will make every Oak Leafer from Steelstown to Slaughtneil keen to wear it next year.
The major change in design is along the sleeves where fans were normally used to see a full block of red down along the arms.
The 2016 version sees and updated design with red piping down along the arms thanks to kitmakers O’Neills. The Doire GAA Twitter account gave a huge push for it on the launch night with their slogan, #MoreThanAJersey, trending in Ireland.
The other major change is to the sponsor, as Specialist Joinery group are replaced by H&A.

Earlier this week Cork got the jump on all their rivals as they launched their new kit for 2016.
The two lads in the picture are Christopher Joyce and Stephen McDonnell, while the woman is not a Cork player at all, but rather a model by the name of Mairead O’Farrell.
Although the reaction has been less than positive from some Cork fans,
New Cork jersey is v disappointing
