This is according to a showbiz source.
Oasis are set to announce two more concert dates at Croke Park next summer, according to reports.
This is as disappointed Irish fans of the legendary Britpop band who failed to secure a ticket to the group’s already announced gigs at the Dublin stadium on August 16 and 17 have been calling on the rockers to confirm more Irish concerts.
Over 500,000 people are believed to have logged onto Ticketmaster Ireland from 8am this morning in a bid to secure tickets to see the newly reunited Oasis perform at the venue.
Following confirmation of the reunion tour earlier this week, anticipation for the August 16 and 17 dates reached fever pitch, with some predicting demand for tickets would be greater than it was for Taylor Swift’s concerts this year.
This turned out to be the case, with many fans in Ireland left angry and disappointed after the Ticketmaster website struggled with the high demand.
On top of this, many fans who virtually queued for an hour were left fuming upon discovering that the only tickets left available were “in demand standing tickets” costing €415.50.
This led several to take to Twitter to express their hope that more Oasis gig dates for Ireland would be announced.
Given that the August 16 and 17 Croke Park concert dates are currently the last of Oasis’ reunion tour, some fans suggested that more gigs could be announced for Ireland around the same time.

An exclusive report from The Irish Sun suggests this could come into fruition.
Quoting an unnamed showbiz source, the outlet states that the band are “very likely” to be back at Croke Park the following weekend on the dates August 23 and 24.
The source is said to have told the paper:
“The demand in Ireland to see Oasis is absolutely massive in Ireland. The tickets this morning will be snapped up in minutes and there will be thousands upon thousands left disappointed if it stayed at just the two.
“The Gallaghers love Ireland, the demand is there so it’s very likely to happen… What is being examined is two extra concerts the following weekend to the two already announced.”
This would conflict with rumours, however, that the band would play an unannounced as of yet show in Toronto, Canada on Sunday, August 24.
