Galway camogie champions Mullagh booked their place in the All-Ireland Senior club final with a two-point victory over defending All-Ireland champions Milford in Nenagh.
Mullagh seized the advantage through Leona Monaghan’s first-minute goal, but Milford fought back to lead 0-8 to 1-2 at half-time thanks to six points from Emer Watson.
However, Mullagh fought back behind AIB GAA Connacht Player of the Year Rachel Monaghan, whose second-half haul of 1-2 propelled the Galway side back in front, aided by a fine defensive display which held Milford to a single post-interval score.
Mullagh await the winners of the other semi-final between Oulart – The Ballagh and Loughgiel, which was postponed due to an unplayable pitch in Castleblayney.
Meanwhile, the intermediate final will pit Kilkenny against Waterford after the ladies of Piltown and Lismore won their semi-finals.
Piltown were convincing 3-5 to 0-6 winners over Down representatives Clonduff thanks to second-half goal flurry, while defending champions Lismore edged out Oranmore/Maree by a score of 1-14 to 1-12.
Elsewhere, Kerry side Brosna won their way through to the All-Ireland Junior final after winning their semi-final replay against Rock of Tyrone by 1-8 to 0-7.
