You can rely on Mary Immaculate College for two things: being pretty damn good at hurling and producing really great tops.
At the start of the 2017/18 season, we were quite taken by the jersey for this year’s Fitzibbon Cup, a cracking, tight-fitted top that bore the traditional red and blue colours of the college.
Although their quest to become the first college since UCC to win three Fitzgibbon titles in a row ended in agony at the hands of DCU, the future is still bright for the college in both codes.
If you don’t believe us, just look at their football training top.
A fairly striking mix of grey, orange and blue, it certainly captures your attention.

We’ve seen some interesting jerseys recently, like Galway’s camouflage one below. Be it home, away or training – keep making them like this. There’s nothing worse than a bland, forgettable jersey, whatever the sport is.
