LISTEN: New dual code GAA Hour tackles the plight of the club warrior, player statements and Clare’s new era

Mikey Stafford

The GAA Hour returns as a dual code entity for the remainder of the year and it is well timed.

There are no fewer than 19 (NINETEEN) county finals on this weekend as the club season well and truly shifts into fifth gear.

To this end SportsJOE GAA editor Colm Parkinson chats to new Meath football manager Andy McEntee about his dim views on the Dublin club championship, where he enjoyed much success as Ballyboden boss.

One half of Clare’s new hurling management ticket, Donal Moloney, joins us to discuss the task ahead of himself and Gerry O’Connor as they take over from Davy Fitzgerald.

Mikey Stafford and Conan Doherty join Wooly in studio to preview the weekend’s abundance of action and, in light of Joe Brolly’s comments about Rob Hennelly, debate the merits of players releasing statements.
