Tasty.
Not even Lee Keegan’s return could save Mayo this year. The 2016 Footballer of the Year’s presence was not enough to see Stephen Rochford’s men past Kildare, sending the 2017 All-Ireland finalists crashing out of the championship.
But Keegan is keeping himself busy. The 28-year-old Westport man will be on The Saturday Game next week, joining the panel to discuss the All-Ireland quarter-final between Dublin and Donegal.
Joe Brolly has had his say about it.
Really looking forward to Dublin v Donegal this Saturday. RTE panel for the live game will be Tomás, me and ….. only Lee Goddamn Keegan. Can't wait

Lee Keegan ( as I've said before) is Mayo's greatest player in the modern era, capable of dominating the greatest opponents and of being the dominant influence in major games

Earlier this week, the GAA confirmed Croke Park as the venue for the quarter-final despite objections from Donegal that it is essentially a home game for Dublin.
Under the Super 8s rules, the teams are supposed to play one game at home, one away and one game at Croke Park. However, Dublin will play two games at Croke Park, with their away fixture on the road against Tyrone.
Dublin v Donegal is a game already dripping with intrigue but the presence of Keegan will be an interesting element to RTÉ’s coverage.
Keegan has previous with the Dubs, of course. Everyone and their dog knows about his attempt to unnerve Dean Rock in last year’s All-Ireland final by throwing a GPS tracker at the Dublin man before he struck a pivotal kick.
Keegan also joined Colm Parkinson on The GAA Hour football show earlier this year, discussing that enthralling encounter with Dublin in great detail. You can listen to that interview below.
