Oh-me-oh-my what a draw!
After two thrilling weekends of Gaelic football under our belts, it’s hard to believe that we have an even bigger one just around the corner.
The draw for the quarter finals has been made, and this time next week, four more sides will follow Galway, Roscommon, Kildare and Donegal through the exit door.
Kerry, Dublin, Derry and Armagh were already through to the quarter final stages while Tyrone, Monaghan, Cork and Mayo have joined them through the preliminary round.
There were two pots for this morning’s draw. One had Armagh, Derry, Dublin and Kerry. The other Cork, Mayo, Monaghan and Tyrone. Group repeat pairings and provincial finals were to be avoided.
The official quarter final draw:
- Kerry vs Tyrone
- Dublin vs Mayo
- Armagh vs Monaghan
- Derry vs Cork
GAA GO is the only place to watch the first two quarter finals, on Saturday. Kerry and Tyrone is first up on the streaming site with a 3:45pm throw-in, followed by Armagh vs. Monaghan at 6pm.
RTÉ will broadcast the Sunday double-header. Derry and Cork are up first, at 1.45pm, before Dublin vs. Mayo throws in at 4pm.
What an unbelievable weekend we have in store for us.
