Gardaí are investigating a brawl that occurred at the end of Sunday’s Wexford SFC final.
Castletown Liam Mellows secured a second title in two years by overcoming Shelmaliers 0-14 to 1-7 at Chadwick Wexford Park, but the victory was marred by a huge post-match brawl.
Wexford CCC will also carry out an investigation after receiving the referee’s report.
The Irish Independent reported that a teenager sustained 'nasty facial injuries' in the brawl.
