Galway footballer Séan Fitzgerald has been confirmed for this summer's Love Island line-up.
Fitzgerald, a 25-year-old primary school teacher from Barna, stepped away from Galway's football panel last week, sparking rumours he would appear on the popular reality show.
Love Island have been dropping this year's cast on social media this morning, cementing the footballer's stint on the show.
Back in February, the footballer, who is known as Fitzy online, posted an audition for the show to his nearly 97,000 TikTok followers with the caption 'Get me in there'.
Love Island returns on Monday, June 1, to Virgin Media Two.
