A lot of GAA supporters can relate to Bressie watching Westmeath in Spain

All about finding the nearest Irish Pub

There are very few downsides of GAA being in full swing during the summer.

It means the best weather, great atmospheres and Sundays are worth looking forward to if it means going to watch some GAA.

However, given that it is summer it means that holidays abroad are plentiful.

We’ve all been there, our precious county is live on TV but we’re stuck in sunny Spain or even further abroad.

However, the advantages of being Irish is that Irish bars are in every corner of the globe so a quick google search means that there is no fear that you will miss a moment of the championship.

Proud Westmeath man and former lead singer of The Blizzards Niall Breslin is in Monda, Spain but couldn’t miss his side play Dublin in the Leinster Senior Football Championship.

And he even went to mass too.

Unfortunately for Bressie, Westmeath were not able to replicate their 2004 heroics against Dublin as they ended up losing by 31 points.
