Full details for Mayo vs. Roscommon replay announced

Time, date and venue are all decided

Darragh Culhane

We go again.

In case you managed to miss it, Mayo and Roscommon drew yesterday.

It was exhilarating with a final score line of 2-09 to 1-12.

Other than poor Mayo and Roscommon fans that just want to be put out of their misery nobody else will complain.

Well, we knew yesterday that the fixture was going to take place in Croke Park on Bank Holiday Monday 7 August but we have a time now too.

Throw in for the match will be 2 PM meaning that everyone will have plenty of time to commute home, have a nice dinner and get to bed nice and early.

If the replay is anything like Sunday we will be all in for a treat, it had it all really whether it be Fintan Cregg’s stunner, Cillian O’Connor escaping a red card, Kevin McStay being relieved beyond relief at a Roscommon equaliser or Lee Keegan being sheer brilliant.
