Throw in the Champions League final afterwards, and you might not leave the sofa.
This is not a weekend for the FitBits, Garmins, Whoops or whatever fitness trackers you may own, because they will only try to sway you away from your TV, and frankly, they will fail.
There are five GAA finals on this weekend, and two other cracking games just to make sure that you’re in absolutely no danger of leaving the house.
First up Laois take on Galway in the All-Ireland hurling championship, which is quickly followed by the one of the more exciting match ups in the Tailteann Cup – Antrim v Limerick.
Meath ladies play Dublin in the Leinster final, a repeat of the All-Ireland final from last year, so any occasion to watch arguably the two best teams in the county go at it is blockbuster material.
Limerick are in two Munster finals, but it’s the football one first as they take on All-Ireland favourites Kerry, and that’s quickly followed by the senior Leinster final between Dublin and Kildare.
No one will forget the euphoric scenes when the Lillywhites beat the Dubs in the league earlier in the year, and it just might come back to haunt them this Saturday.
Moving on to Sunday, and hopefully you got a good night’s sleep to rehydrate those non-blinking eyes from the day before, and Galway play Roscommon in the Connacht final.
The two teams put on a thriller when they met in the Division Two final, and whoever wins this might just sneak into the argument as genuine All-Ireland contenders.
Lastly, but certainly not least, the relentless Derry play the most dominant team in the province, as they face Donegal in the Ulster final.
It’s almost too hard to call, so the safest bet is to park yourself up, and just enjoy the show.
