The line-up for the Fitzgibbon Cup quarter-finals has been finalised following victories for UL and LIT.
UL beat WIT and LIT overcame Garda College to book their spots in the last-eight on Thursday night after champions Mary I had edged NUIG in a thrilling contest earlier in the day.
Mary I will face DCU while fellow Limerick colleges UL and LIT set up ties against UCC and IT Carlow respectively.
UL outclassed WIT in Carriganore 2-19 to 1-8 to win Group B and confirm a mouthwatering showdown with 2015 champions UCC.
Davy Fitzgerald’s LIT were too good for Garda College, winning 3-18 to 1-7 at Templetuohy and will face IT Carlow who, had already secured their place in the last eight, beat Trinity College 1-19 to 0-14 at Santry Avenue.
The fourth quarter-final sees UCD at home to DIT in an all-Dublin encounter. Below is the quarter-final line-up in full. The first team has home advantage, while dates and times for the matches will be confirmed on Friday.
