When Dublin release a new jersey it is always a hot topic of debate among fans.
The debate hit fever pitch last week with the reveal of Dublin’s new jersey for the 2019 season.
Many fans love the new Dublin kit which you have to say is very original.
The faded shorts are a new trend, as well as the collar.
We have previously seen sleeves faded like so, but there is no doubting that the new kit is out there!
So much so, that some fans really don’t like it!
However, there is one new Dublin jersey that shouldn’t be up for debate and that is the goalkeeper’s jersey.
Somehow, we think Stephen Cluxton will enjoy donning this brand new goalkeeper’s jersey next year.
Before we reveal it though, let’s have a look through some of the most iconic Stephen Cluxton kits right down through the years.
Here is a young Cluxton sporting a Dublin hat early in his career.
What about this iconic jersey that Cluxton wore the year he kicked the winner in Dublin’s first All-Ireland triumph since 1995.
It’s hard not to love this one from 2008, possibly this author’s favourite all-time goalkeeper jersey.
However, the 2019 jersey is going to be seriously hard to top, in fact it blows 2008 Cluxton totally out of the water.
Deadly jersey that!
