We haven’t seen a solo run like this since Diego Maradona ran riot against England in the World Cup all those years ago.
Darran O’Sullivan has scored some special goals in his time. This finish against Limerick in 2011 deserves special mention…

And so does this goal solo effort against Cork…
The man is both a great goalscorer and a scorer of great goals and was at it again on Sunday afternoon.
O’Sullivan, who has won four All-Ireland titles with Kerry, was in action for his club side Glenbeigh-Glencar in the AIB All-Ireland junior club football semi-final.
The Kerry side beat Mayo’s Louisburgh 4-14 to 0-13, to secure a place in the final at Croke Park on 18 February, where they will face Rock from Tyrone.
The Ulstermen will have to tighter at the back than Louisburgh were on Sunday to stop O’Sullivan. Even then it might be an extremely difficult task if he’s in this mood.
The 30-year-old forward went on a brilliant solo-run to score a stunning goal, leaving a number of opponents in his wake as he broke up the field.
It really was special.
