What a game.
Castlebar Mitchels will play Ballyboden St. Enda’s in the All-Ireland club football final on St. Patrick’s Day in Croke Park.
The Mayo club secured their place in the final with a dramatic victory over Crossmaglen Rangers on Saturday evening.
Crossmaglen had the better of the first-half, going into the break leading by 0-8 to 0-5, but Castlebar were quick out the traps in the second-half and it wasn’t long before the clubs were level 0-8 to 0-8.
The pair were level 0-12 to 0-12 going into the final five minutes, however Barry Moran gave Castlebar the lead with two minutes left on the clock, and the Mayo side hung on for a dramatic victory.
Roll on Paddy’s day!
