Louth captain Áine Breen has been named The Croke Park Hotel/LGFA Player of the Month award for June 2025.
The 28-year-old St Patrick’s player has been in fine form as Louth marched to a second successive TG4 All-Ireland Junior Championship Final.
Louth will take on Antrim at Croke Park on Sunday August 3 aiming to go one better than last year, when they lost out to Fermanagh in the showpiece decider.
As Louth cruised through the group stages of the TG4 All-Ireland series, with four games in June, Áine was very much to the fore at midfield.
She scored a goal against Sligo and two points in each of the games against Derry and Limerick as Louth set up a semi-final with Longford, which they won on Sunday.
Having captained the team at Croke Park on TG4 All-Ireland Final day last year, Áine will now have that honour again on the first Sunday in August.
Tickets for All-Ireland final day on August 3 are available here.
All LGFA games will be shown live on TG4.
