Let this be a lesson to any one with a Twitter account… don’t mess with with Zenit St Petersburg.
Unfortunately for the Daily Mail, they discovered this the hard way after featuring the Russian champions’ badge in an article about the worst crests in club football.
Zenit’s reply was brutal…
Even when the Daily Mail tried to backtrack, Zenit had an answer.

For the record, we think the Zenit St Petersburg badge is lovely and undoubtedly one of the finest football badges in the history of the sport.
