Things are about to take a turn in Yaya Toure proportions.
The Ivorian was brought off during City’s biggest game of the season at the Bernabeu on Wednesday night.
Pep Guardiola, the same manager he left at Barcelona, is coming to take over at Eastlands.
His birthday is in eight days time and there’s no word of a cake and, to top it all off, the poor f**ker didn’t even realise he was joining Man City initially. Easy enough to see that considering all he has done is whinge since he got there.

The 32-year-old revealed that he thought he was being chased by Manchester United when he was leaving Barcelona. He stopped shy of admitting that he didn’t know who City were but at least he had a handy way of being reminded – the team in the blue.
Speaking to Nissan before the last remaining English club were knocked out of the Champions League by Real Madrid, Toure told the story of how he arrived at the Etihad.
“When I was at Barcelona and initially approached by Manchester City I thought it was Manchester United that wanted me,” the midfielder is quoted in the Daily Mail.
“My agent had to tell me it was the team in the blue shirts
“At the time Manchester United were putting Manchester City in the shadows. Manchester United is a big club and I respect that club a lot.”
Of course, everything worked out exactly the way he wanted them to. Right…
“It was a big challenge but I came because I knew they were going to succeed and we would win trophies, compete with the big clubs and with Manchester United.
“This was the kind of club I wanted to have a story with and make history with. I made a good choice.”
