Nobody likes a show-off but everyone loves Shane Long. Where the hell does that leave us?
To be fair, he wasn’t that ostentatious in his control of the ball in pre-season training so he is no less beloved in our books.
The striker, who signed on with Southampton for a further four years last week, displayed some stunning skill on Tuesday morning.
With a perfectly-weighted ball arriving to his feet, Long decided to trap the ball in between his legs before flicking it up and sending it back from whence it came.
He can sing, he can play guitar and he’s an absolute baller.
