The Dundalk midfielder has scored an incredible volley to give the League of Ireland side an lead away against Legia Warsaw.
Stephen Kenny’s side were trailing 2-0 from last week’s first-leg in Dublin, and needed the performance of a lifetime to overcome the deficit in Poland. However, their quest to reach the group stages of the Champions League was made a lot easier after 19 minutes.
Benson arrived late into the penalty area to smash a volley into the top corner and leave Dundalk needing just a goal to force extra-time, and two to go through.
Unstoppable.
