Watch: Only Jurgen Klopp could make Daniel Sturridge’s celebration dance likable

Nailed it...

Daniel Sturridge’s goal celebration is annoying, isn’t it?

The Liverpool striker, no matter the context of the game, will celebrate scoring a goal by wiggling his arms.

Regardless of whether it’s the winner in a tight game, a stunning goal or a tap-in, Sturridge dances.

Like that time time he scored from six-yards during Chelsea’s League Cup victory over Manchester United in the last-16 of the competition in 2012.

There is really no need to dance when you’ve scored the fourth in a 5-4 win in the League Cup, a goal so routine that none of his teammates came to celebrate with him, but tell that to the England striker…

The only celebration that’s more annoying is when players refuse to celebrate scoring against their former teams.

However, leave it to Jurgen Klopp to somehow make the celebration likeable.

The affable Liverpool manager was asked by a young Reds’ fan to do the dance during the club’s pre-season tour of the United States, and he enthusiastically obliged.
