You’ve got Beliebers and Directioners but it appears that Javier Hernandez is more of a JJ-niac.
The Bayer Leverkusen striker is currently on international duty, representing Mexico at the Copa America Centenario, and met one of his sporting heroes in training.
Houston Texans star JJ Watt popped in to say hello to the El Tri players over the weekend and to say that Chicharito was in awe would be an understatement.
Hey, @miseleccionmx, let us introduce you to @JJWatt.
We think you’ll like him. #SomosTexans

Hernandez was literally left open-mouthed at the sight of Watt who gave the former Manchester United forward a jersey as a souvenir of their meeting.
It’s honestly like Chicharito is a five-year-old seeing a superhero and it certainly brings a smile to one’s face that a professional footballer on insane money can still be left star-struck.
We don’t get to use the word ‘adorable’ much when writing about sports stars but how else are you going to describe this level of fandom?
