There’s a reason they call him The King.
Robbie Keane is well-liked in Los Angeles. Heck, he’s idolised.
He didn’t go over there in 2011 for a handy pay check. He went over to make a difference and, three MLS Cups later, it’s easy to see why the 36-year-old goalscoring machine is held in such high esteem.

On Sunday night, the five-time champions had to come from behind to rescue a draw in Seattle.
But it could’ve been more if Keane’s 91st minute effort wasn’t spectacularly cleared off the line.
The Dubliner went storming through in injury time and, with an improvised, acrobatic strike, he got the perfect flight on a difficult ball to get it up and over the ‘keeper and back down again.
Bloody Chad Marshall ruined the fun though.
Before the game, the mesmerising Robbie Keane parade continued. Just your simple ‘I can do whatever the hell I like with the ball’ warm-up.
It looks like it’s stuck to his body.
Robbie Keane is a genius. #LAGalaxy #SEAvLA https://t.co/T4U7OmhjjZ
