Vine: Ronaldo ignores Michel Platini twice with epic snubs at Club World Cup final

Serious daggers from the Frenchman afterwards

Kevin McGillicuddy

Rude, yes. Justified, perhaps.

Real Madrid are officially the best club in the world after a 2-0 win over San Lorenzo tonight in the Club World Cup final.

The game was pretty tame by all standards but the big talking point after was when Ronaldo made it pretty clear he isn’t a fan of the UEFA President.

The goal-machine walked right by the Frenchman twice after the full-time whistle, the first when he picked up his medal:

The second snub came after he was named the second best player of the tournament – Ramos getting the golden ball and Ronaldo ending with the silver one.

The look from Platini afterwards is priceless.

Maybe Ronaldo was miffed that he didn’t get on the scoresheet in the 2-0 win as goals from Ramos and  Gareth Bale secured the win.

Ramos made a little piece of history with the opening goal as he’s now scored in World Club and Champions League semis and finals.

The second from Bale isn’t one for the highlights reel as a pretty tame shot from the Wales international squeezed under the body of the Taibi-like San Lorenzo goalkeeper.
