Not a good night for Bayern Munich
The treble dream is over for Bayern Munich after they lost their German Cup semi final on penalties to Borussia Dortmund at the Allianz Arena on Tuesday night.
The game ended 1-1 after normal time and extra time and so we were treated to an incredibly exciting and dramatic penalty shoot-out that saw Munich fail to hit the target in four attempts and Dortmund win 2-0 on penalties.
Munich didn’t have star striker Robert Lewandowski to call on in the shoot-out after he suffered what very much looked like concussion in a collision with Dortmund ‘keeper Mitchell Langerak.
Bayern manager Pep Guardiola absolutely lost the rag on the sideline,with a look that was both quite insane and almost very funny at the exact same time.
We were hoping he would go full-Hulk mode and rip his pants again but he just about restrained himself.
We also love this vine of poor Pep looking at Jurgen Klopp racing to his players at the end of the shootout.
