Liverpool would be brilliant if they were to play in the Championship each week
Brendan Rodger’s side must have been looking at tonnes of videos of Pep Guardiola’s Bayern Munich over the last few days as they took Bournemouth apart last night in pretty spectacular fashion in the Capital One Cup quarter final.
The opening goal in their 3-1 win over the Championship leaders came from the head of Raheem Sterling which was pretty remarkable in itself. However, the real headline-grabbing aspect to it was that it took an incredible 52 passes to work it to that point, without a single interception or tackle by a Bournemouth player.
