We all know about Steve McManaman's Anfield allegiances, but as with the likes of Jamie Carragher and Gary Neville, you expect a bit of neutrality to his punditry.
His most recent comments about Louis van Gaal's immediate future suggest he is either somewhat biased about Manchester United's current woes, or he has a very unique take on reality.
Speaking on BT Sport, McManaman complained that United's results weren't good enough, and that the Dutchman was at fault for letting the likes of Danny Welbeck, Jonny Evans, Darren Fletcher and Javier Hernandez go. Then argued he shouldn't be sacked...
