“We really were 24 hours from being closed down.”

Dundalk FC is more than a club.

In 2012, the beating heart of The Town was on the verge of extinction.

But fans, club people, natives rallied together and refused to see the team they love cease to exist.

Within two years, redemption. Stephen Kenny had led them to the promised land. They then decided to take over that land and keep it all for themselves.

And, behind them, they left a trail – a legacy for the youngsters of Dundalk to follow.

Their video, entitled Dundalk FC – The Town, funded and produced by club sponsor Fyffes, tells the tale of the remarkable comeback story and the people who helped keep the club afloat. And, in an inspiring production, it shows just what Oriel Park means to the people of Dundalk.
