You’d swear it was a cup final.
Being a football fan means supporting your beloved club through thick and thin, right?
Well, unfortunately, that’s not always the case, as we were reminded of again very recently.

Werder Bremen fans, however, did not take aim at their players when the going got tough this season.
The once regular participants in the Champions League have found themselves on a downward skid for the last few seasons. This campaign, there was a genuine threat of relegation when they entered their match against Eintracht Frankfurt on Saturday.
Bremen headed into the match in the relegation play-off spot, a point behind Frankfurt. If you thought that the fans would be downtrodden about this fact and would unleash their fury over a lacklustre campaign on the players, then guess again.
The support appeared to work as in the 88th minute, Chelsea loanee Papy Djilobodji diverted the ball home following a free kick to send Bremen out of the play-off spot and secure their place in the Bundesliga next season.
Thank you to the fans who have stuck by us all season. We couldn't have done it without you. 💚 #greenwhitewonderwall pic.twitter.com/RWaXs1zueU
