It’s not too often that Adam Lallana comes up with a piece of genius like this.
Too often have Reds fans been left frustrated by the 27-year-old this season but this was definitely one of his good games.
Liverpool’s superiority during Thursday night’s Europa League Round of 16 tie at Anfield was never really threatened for the ninety minutes and the sublime performance put in by Jurgen Klopp’s men was best summed up in the 72nd minute when Lallana left both Daley Blind and Morgan Schneiderlin for dead.
The former Southampton midfielder was stuck in the tightest of tight positions when he dazzled his way to freedom with a superb dragback, backheel and flick out of trouble.
Reds fans will be certainly crying out for Lallana to break this out of his locker more often.
When did harmless little Adam Lallana turn into Zinedine Zidane?

Lallana has been magnificent tonight: quick feet, vision, balance, work-rate, movement, creativity, pressing. Grown under Klopp.
