VIDEO: Manchester United forgotten man Javier Hernandez ends goal drought with spectacular strike

Chicharito’s last goal was in November

What a way to end your drought

Since leaving Manchester United for Real Madrid on loan, things have not gone so well for one of Alex Feguson’s favourite players. Javier Hernandez has cut a  forlorn figure at times in Spain as Carlo Ancelloti  prefers the various other multi-millionaires to the Mexican in his side on a regular basis.

He’s been without a goal in all competitions for club and country since November 12. His last goal for Real Madrid was even further back again-a strike against Cornella on October 9th in the Copa del Rey.

So we can imagine he was a relieved man when he managed to finally rattle the net again with the lovely strike in Mexico’s friendly with Ecuador in LA last night. The striker picked up the ball deep and after hurdling two challenges lashes it home via the angle of the crossbar to notch his 39th goal for his country.

Very sweet and Mexico managed to hang on for the win too.
