Expect Cameron Brannagan to make himself known sooner rather than later.
The 18-year-old midfielder scored a cracker for Liverpool’s Under-21 side, last night, as they came from behind to beat Leicester City 2-1.
Brannagan, who has twice featured on the senior team bench, reacted superbly to a poor clearance by the City goalkeeper.
His swivel, touch and strike [25 seconds into the video, below] was a concise confirmation of his undoubted skill.
Liverpool’s equaliser, on 58 minutes, came courtesy of Ireland U-21 defender Daniel Cleary.
Alex O’Hanlon’s curling free-kick was met with a thumping header that gave Ben Hamer no chance.

BT pundits have likened Brannagan to Philippe Coutinho as he is comfortable across the midfield and in the No.10 role.
Brendan Rodgers rates Brannagan and Jordan Rossiter as the next young Reds likely to follow Jordan Ibe and make the senior breakthrough.
