We hope his partner wasn’t watching Match of the Day.
Okay, Jamie Vardy is sending Leicester fans into delirium on a weekly basis as their fairytale only seems to get better with every game.
And, sure, we know he’s a hero in the Midlands and he’s almost ‘made’ in the city.

And his two goals against Southampton sealed another ridiculous comeback for Claudio Ranieri’s men who just refuse to ever accept defeat.
But come on…
One Leicester fan got that carried away with Saturday’s game that he seemed to completely forget he was holding a child in one arm as he chased Vardy down the line after the striker’s second goal sealed a point on the south coast.
Vardy goes through, he blasts to the net, he takes off in celebration and the Leicester fans go with him. If the children are weak, leave them behind. But get to the goalscorer by whatever means necessary.
This poor kid didn’t know what was going on and he didn’t seem too impressed anyway. He’ll soon learn.
