Does LvG do mind games

Never a man to miss an opportunity to pull the pin from a grenade and lob it over the wall, Jose Mourniho has hit back at claims that his side will face a less than stellar Manchester United side this weekend in the Premier League.

The tabletoppers are just a few games from claiming the title, and could take a massive step towards Mourinho’s first league triumph in his second spell at Stamford Bridge with a victory on Saturday, over the side currently in third.

However news today suggest that Louis van Gaal will be without a number of first team players such as Daley Blind,Phil Jones and Michael Carrick for the game. Not that Jose Mourinho is bothered too much.

When he was asked today about the so called ‘injury crisis’ at Old Traffiord he dismissed the suggestion his team would be facing a weakened side

‘I disagree because their squad is amazing, in numbers, players, experience, solutions, their squad is amazing. Every week, I have in my office not the team I’m going to play against, but I have on the big screen the squad and all the options. This week, when I arrived in the room, for the first time in the week, I realised what they have. It’s amazing.’

When the journalist asked who Jose thought would be available for the game, Mourinho began to list off all the players that LvG will have at his disposal and to be fair he makes a good point.

He names Wayne Roooney, Angel Di Maria and Juan Mata among a host of others as all options for the match.

However none are defenders which might be a slight bother for the game.

Jose is also asked how close he is to the Dutchman and his answer is they are very close friends. Like really really close.
