VIDEO: If there is a Puskas for saves this Dublin goalkeeper has to win

He wasn't going to be beaten a third time

Kevin McGillicuddy

Beat this Manuel Neuer

You have to love Sunday morning amateur football.

Among the 40-year-old men with mustaches that should be avoided at all costs, there can be moments of absolute brilliance.

And it’s not always about goals either.

We hope the lads of the Mellowes BDS team bought Glen Kearney a well deserved pint after this wondersave from their clash with Mountview United in the Athletic Union League Premier A on Sunday.

Stuart Harmon shows some nice skill to create some space about 30 metres from goal and was about to peel away to celebrate when Kearney stretched out a glove and got his fingertips to push it around the post.

The game was ultimately abandoned for an incident involving the referee (yes, we’d like to know more too) with the score at 2-2.
