The young Man United fan was present at Anfield on Thursday night to witness his team capitulate against their great sporting rivals, suffering a 2-0 defeat that flattered them somewhat.
Clearly dejected by what he had witnessed, the youngster was asked for a few words on the Europa League first-leg game by Man United fan channel, FullTimeDEVILS.
Instead of providing a curt ‘no comment’ or spewing a tirade of angry swears, Zayaan was extremely articulate and insightful in his erudite views.
A particular bone of contention was Louis van Gaal’s selection of Marouane Fellaini, who the pint-sized pundit felt was lucky not to get sent off.
Not to afraid of making the big calls, little Zayaan also suggested that fan favourite Anthony Martial should have been hooked instead of youngster Marcus Rashford.
