Bayern Munich fans are not happy.
However it has nothing to do with what they are seeing on the pitch so far in London as they face Arsenal in this evening’s Champions League group game at the Emirates.
Supporters of the German champions decided tonight they would miss the opening five minutes of tonight’s game in London in protest at the price of tickets for the encounter in north London.
Some tickets for away fans tonight were priced at £64, which isn’t far away from almost €100 euro, and when you add in that cost to flights and accommodation and you could see why the visiting fans were less than happy.
Bayern fans came in as expected, but for kick-off and five minutes afterwards they headed to the concourse outside the pitch to highlight their feelings on the spiraling cost of attending football.
Bayern Munich message tonight.

Fans who want to see their teams at the Emirates are often charged the highest prices for tickets in the premier league, but the home support for tonight’s game clearly feel that charging over £60 pounds for a match is a bit too much and they clapped the Munich fans when they returned to their seats in the stadium.
