Twitter couldn’t believe John Obi Mikel scored for Chelsea

He's not exactly prolific

The Champions League is back and all eyes were on the galaxy of stars on display in Paris.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Angel di Maria, Eden Hazard and Cesc Fabregas, David Luiz and Diego Costa, some of the world’s best, and most famous, players were on show as Paris Saint-Germain took on Chelsea.

However, they were all briefly overshadowed by one man: John Obi Mikel.

That’s right, the most defensive of defensive midfielders, grabbed Chelsea a valuable away goal just before half-time, levelling the score after Ibrahimovic’s opener and it was too much for Twitter.

However, maybe we shouldn’t be too surprised.
