Brendan Rodgers will be a busy boy come the summer

With Liverpool losing such a big name this summer, it is safe to assume that Anfield may well be the busiest place for transfers this summer. Add in the probability of another Champions League campaign to play and they will definitely need to spend.

So it is no surprise that yet again they lead the transfer tittle tattle. Once again, this time in the Italian press, they have been linked with a move for Roma playmaker Miralem Pjanic, though Calciomercato also say that megabucks PSG fancy him too.

The Mirror have also thrown a new name in the mix, saying the Reds fancy a piece of Lazio’s Felipe Anderson. Liverpool are said to have scouted the midfielder, who is having a fine season in Serie A.

With seven goals and eight assists, the 21-year-old looks to have the full range of skills needed for life in England but Manchester City, Manchester United and Chelsea also reckon he could do a job for them. Expect to hear a lot of the Brazilian’s name when the transfer window slams open.

Away from Liverpool, there are a few scraps of gossip.

In form Palermo striker Paulo Dybala is linked with a move to Juventus, Manchester United or Barcelona according to Goal while Arsenal are going to be looking at a potential new centre half at Everton’s game on Thursday, but it isn’t Phil Jagielka or Jon Stones.

Instead it is Dynamo Kiev’s Aleksandar Dragovic who they are checking out. If he does well, a £15m bid may be dispatched from the Emirates in the summer.
