Louis van Gaal seems to be assembling a team of attackers but Manchester United fans might be pleased to hear they may finally be getting around to signing a much needed centre-half this summer.

According to today’s Daily Express the club are being strongly linked with signing Miranda from Atletico Madrid, with perhaps a swop deal for Juan Mata as part of the arrangement.

The centre-half is a vital cog in Diego Simone’s team but United are prepared to make a deal happen to strengthen a key area of the side.

Fabio Borini might finally be getting the hint that he’s not wanted at Anfield. The former Chelsea man has been one of Brendan Rodgers ‘less inspiring signings, and despite a good spell on loan at Sunderland, has seen very little game time this season

Serie A may prove to be an escape route for him as Bologna are rumoured to be looking at his services in a cut price summer deal.

Liverpool are desperate to shift the Italian off their wage bill, and according to the Daily Express he’ll be able to leave for less than €8million

The Benfica man is rated at almost €30million, while Rodriguez has been linked with a move to London now for almost a solid year, and the deal may finally happen this summer

Hold on West Ham fans, don’t get carried away. Ye aren’t signing former Manchester United misfit Nani, but ex-PSG striker Nene instead.

The 33-year-old is set to compete a deal to join the Hammers this week after Andy Carroll was ruled out for the rest of the season with a knee injury.

According to the Daily Star the Brazilian will be offered a short term deal to try and maintain Sam Allardyce’s ambitions of European football next season

Arsenal fans are pretty happy with David Ospina as their their current number one with Wojciech Szczesny left steaming on the bench. Well according to the Daily Star Wenger will move to bolster his netminding options in the summer by taking on German Bernd Leno.

The Bayer Leverkusen man is well regarded in Germany and is seen as one of a number of players who could challenge Manuel Neuer for the international goalkeeping slot.

He’s under contract under 2018 so wouldn’t come cheap though.
