Tottenham release video showing how new stadium will look on match day

"See our stadium like never before"

Work is now well underway on Tottenham’s swanky new stadium.

The new ground is currently being built right next to the current White Hart Lane structure, and will eventually use the whole site for the 61,000 seater bowl.

It is due to be completed in time for the 2018-19 season and the club will play home matches at Wembley for the 2017-18 season while the work is finished.

Today Spurs released a new video showing what the ground will look like when finished – and how it will look on a match day.

The ground will also be used for a minimum of two NFL games per year as part of a deal struck by chairman Daniel Levy to help fund its construction, and the video also shows it in use for American football, as well as for a concert.

“We have an opportunity now to deliver one of the most unique sports, leisure and entertainment venues in the world, bringing together the EPL and NFL for the first time,” Levy said. “The socio-economic benefits this will bring to the area will be immense and demonstrates our commitment to the regeneration of this priority borough in London.”

It seemed to go down well with most fans:

Meanwhile this fan seems to have forgotten what colour the seats are at White Hart Lane…
