We’re just glad he was wearing underwear
If our mothers taught us anything (that we actually retained) then it was to always make sure you don’t go out with a hole in your jumper or an extra air vent in your trousers.
It’s solid advice that has come in handy at least more than once as we negotiate our way through life.
However even sometimes good advice goes out the window as you could burst a hole in your britches when celebrating a goal, or doing your best knee-slide down the touchline.
Pep Guardiola is far too cultured of a man to do any such thing, but there is still some mystery as to how he managed a mighty sized tear in his trousers during Bayern Munich’s 6-1 win over Porto last night.

We could guess that he burst them while laughing at speculation that he was under pressure if Bayern lost,or it may also have been while he was fishing around in his pockets for a huge slice of humble pie that he was about to dole out to journalists after the game.
The former Barcelona manager was asked after the incredible win his thoughts on his own personal ‘Hulk’ moment,
Guardiola on his trousers: "Ah, they broke. It's not so bad, I'll just put on a new pair for the next game." #FCBFCP

However Thomas Muller had a different explanation:
Müller on Pep's trousers: "Italian tailors make trousers really tight, that's probably why they broke." #FCBFCP

We’re not sure who to believe-maybe next time Pep can borrow our pair of rip-offs if he gets too excited on the sideline.
