Glenn Whelan>Cristiano Ronaldo.
You’ve all seen the Real Madrid dressing room photo taken following their El Clasico win over Real Madrid earlier this year by now.
Here’s a refresher though, just in case:

Cristiano Ronaldo in his underpants, Marcelo in a karate pose and a happy bunch of players. The photo gained almost instant iconic status, and has since been emulated numerous times.
However, it has finally been bettered by the Republic of Ireland team.
The Irish lads were in celebratory mood after beating Italy 1-0 in Lille, securing their passage to the knock-out stages of Euro 2016 and a game against France in Lyon on Sunday.
The photo really shows the team spirit within the Irish team. Players such as Glenn Whelan, Jon Walters and Ciaran Clark played no part in Wednesday night’s game, but look just as delighted as goalscoring hero Robbie Brady.
