A Chelsea player sent out on loan? Never.
On Friday, Tammy Abraham became the 36th Chelsea player to be sent out on loan this summer. The striker has joined Aston Villa on a season long loan.

“I’m excited for this new chapter,” Abraham told avfc.co.uk.
“Aston Villa are a big club that belongs in the Premier League and I’m here to help them achieve that. At this stage of my career, I need games and this is a great place for me to come and showcase my talent. I can’t wait to get started.”
Abraham spent last season on loan at Swansea after impressing at Bristol City during the 16/17 season. However, he failed to make an impact in the Premier League and has returned to the Championship for a season in search ofirst-teamam football.
Abraham joins a long list of Chelsea players out on loan. A 36 name long list that includes Tiemoue Bakayoko, Tomas Kalas, Michy Batshuayi, Kenedy and Ola Aina.
He also becomes Aston Villa’s seventh signing of the summer, after Örjan Nyland, Yannick Bolasie, Anwar El Ghazi, Axel Tuanzebe, John McGinn and Andre Moreira all signed for the midlands club this summer.
