Contrary to popular belief, it’s not *just* Liverpool supporters that have bothered turning up for the Europa League final in Basel.
Throughout the day, we’ve seen plenty of footage of Liverpool fans You’ll Never Walk Awaying the hours before kick off away in the streets of the Swiss city. It’s reached the point where you’d be forgiven for forgetting that Liverpool actually had to play another team in tonight’s final.
Their opponents are of course Sevilla, who will be looking to win their third Europa League title on the trot. Although they’re probably outnumbered in the city, the Spanish club have also brought a few thousand supporters along with them for tonight’s match – as can be seen from the tweets below.
All the British journalists and Liverpool fans saying there are no Sevilla fans in sight in Basel…… Awkward pic.twitter.com/Z3bE5p6stH

As the footage below also shows, some Sevilla fans’ pre-match preparations are a little different to those that are in town to follow Liverpool…

Each team were allocated a mere 12,000 tickets for the final in the St. Jakob-Park stadium – one of the smallest stadiums to be used for a European final. As a result, thousands of supporters that have travelled to Switzerland will not be able to watch the game from within the stadium.
But the winner of tonight’s match won’t just be bagging a trophy – they’ll also be guaranteeing themselves a spot in next season’s Champions League.
